I’ve been seeing Erin for almost two years and I can’t imagine how different my life would have been if it weren’t for her guidance. As a mid-twenties woman trying to navigate through many changes, heartbreak, and pressures of the outside world Erin has empowered me to take control of my life and process my emotions better. She is the best listener and has an excellent way of helping me understand what I am feeling and why. Seeking out Erin for therapy has been the best decision I could have made for myself

The first time I met Erin Bircher little did I expect to pour my heart out.  She possesses a truly
rare and valuable gift as a therapist in that she exudes an aura of calm and acceptance that draws
one out.  You feel comfortable in sharing your most intimate and troubling problems.  She uses
examples from her own experiences that make her feel approachable and non-judgmental.
Only after listening intently does she offer advice.  Therapy with her in insightful and life-
changing and even at times fun, which I did not think was possible.  I have no words to describe
the debt of gratitude my family feels toward Erin for putting us back together at a time when we
were broken.  She taught us the skills we needed to move forward and gave us hope.  Erin
Bircher is unequivocally the gold standard in psychotherapy.

The opportunity for me to provide feedback on Erin Bircher, LPC, LCAS of Foundations4Change is such an honor. Seeking the support of a counselor can be a daunting experience, with the understanding that there needs to be a “fit” in regard to one’s needs, clinical style, and experience with one’s particular challenge. Erin exemplifies everything that you seek out in this process. She is compassionate, caring, practical and receptive in every aspect of her engagement with me as her client. Her ability to listen to, and synthesize, the experiences you share is evident in her respect for your perspective as well as her clinical understanding of the processes in place. She provides reflective feedback and inquiries in a manner that empowers the client to broaden their own view and request ideas to manage them effectively in their life. The most significant impact that Erin, through her Foundations4Change practice, has made in my life has been the gift to see the power that I have inside myself to make meaningful and lasting changes. She has built my confidence by being certain that I have a toolbox at the ready for any situation I might encounter. I’ve been blessed to have had her guidance, support and expertise in my life.

Erin has helped me through some of the most difficult times in my adult life over the past couple of  years. She has talked me through marital struggles, the birth of my first child, and sibling drama. Finding a counselor who I connected with was much harder than I thought and made me anxious - especially with it being the first time I’ve reached out for help.  I feel very lucky to have found Erin. She is so easy to talk to and has a very compassionate manner. She has a way of showing me another perspective without feeling judged. I trust her so much that  I’ve told her things I thought I’d never share with anyone. She listens and guides me to my own conclusions through questions. I’ve found I always feel better when leaving my appointments with her, and when I have a specific problem, we make steps to solve it. One time she even made time for me just a week after she had an unexpected surgery - that’s true dedication and passion. I recommend Erin without reservation, as she has helped me embrace change and maintain balance. I can’t thank her enough.

Erin is fantastic. She has been an instrumental part in helping me deal with some issues I have around work/children/life balance. She has given me advice and tools to help me along the way. She is a great listener and a great coach. She has helped me establish healthy boundaries with people in my life. I can undoubtedly say that I have been feeling better about myself and my confidence level since my time with her. It’s great to have that 3rd party perspective on life and the problems that I’m dealing with. I would highly recommend Erin!
