Services

My expertise is in working with adults and couples that are needing help in addressing the following areas of concern:

  • Anxiety

  • Relationship problems

  • Setting healthy boundaries

  • Parenting concerns

  • Family conflict

  • Adjusting to transitions

  • Domestic violence

  • Working through a divorce

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is my most common approach with clients, though I have been trained in various modalities and pull from different schools of thought. Therapy is not a one-size-fits-all formula, and so I adapt my approach to the individual needs of the client. No matter what, I provide a relaxing, safe, and non-judgmental environment where you can gain a better understanding of yourself. I will help you identify what is blocking you from getting where you want to be and help you work toward the life you are striving for. Though I’m a good listener, I don’t spend my client sessions simply nodding and smiling. I will provide feedback, support, guidance, and encourage you to challenge yourself.

I am here to collaboratively help you discover healthier way of life. My aim is to motivate and empower you to make changes that will create a solid and healthy foundation for the most fulfilling life possible.

The most significant impact that Erin has made in my life has been the gift to see the power that I have inside myself to make meaningful and lasting changes ... I’ve been blessed to have had her guidance, support and expertise in my life.

No. 05 - What is the difference between therapy and Coaching:

Coaching as defined by ICF (International Coaching Federation) “is a partnership with clients in a thought provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional growth”. There is more of an emphasis on action and results and less discussions of “why” and more addressing “the how.” Coaching is effective when there are no emotional, cognitive or behavioral barriers preventing you from reaching your goals. Coaching is going to more about where you are now, what is working for you and what is not and what needs to be modified to move forward. There is no distress preventing you from operating a “good” level, but you are aware that you have more potential and are seeking to move from “good” to reach an optimal level and maximize your truest potential.
